What People's Say About Place

Me and my boys tend to go here occasionally for breakfast. Their breakfast items are reasonably priced and really good! Everything came out quicker than I thought it would take them and tasted great. Shout out to the servers, they are awesome.

June ‘25: same wonderful experience! March ‘25: We loved how clean and kept this diner is. Service was good! Food is tasty! Ample parking space. Accepts debit/credit card. Just by the road. High chair observed. Rest room is tidy and fresh. See images and video for further references.

Very cool classic diner. Our waitress was Megan and she was wonderful. She was pleasant and attentive without hovering. The rest of the staff was also very happy and delightful. The food was excellent and plentiful. I thoroughly enjoyed the sausage omelette and hash browns, and my boys cleaned their plates of chicken tenders & fries, and a BLT. Definitely worth the stop.

We had an enjoyable breakfast at the Spinning Wheel Diner. The service was very good and the food was very good. Our group ordered eggs over easy, blueberry pancakes and eggs white with spinach omelette. Everything was cooked perfectly and each was a good portion. We will certainly be back again!

This review is based on a first time and subsequent visits to this diner. My first impressions are that the place is a well run diner. All the service employees are very efficient, they look after their customers. They are pleasant, friendly and accommodating. They have an insane knack of checking up on you at precisely the right time and offer to top off/refill your coffee before requesting it. The prices are fair and the food delicious. There is more then ample parking. The restaurant is clean. The bussing of completed dishes is welcoming rather than intrusive as I have experienced in other dining establishments.

Really great food and staff and excellent coffee. The meat and the matzo ball soup is good too

Our fourth diner on the Somerset Patriots’ diner tour. We were warmly greeted and seated quickly. It’s a good looking diner, very chill and peacefully quiet. Great for concentration without shouting over music. They have a varied menu, with many healthy choices. It’s accessible, with a ramp and plenty of room inside, however, the accessible bathroom is not easy to get to. One fun feature, they have an actual small spinning wheel in front and goldfish in the pond. There is a dispenser at the side door where, for 25 cents, one can feed the fish!

I have eaten dinner and breakfast here on numerous occasions. I stay at a nearby motel when it snows and come here for my food. The Spinning Wheel Diner is located on Route 22 East and is easily accessible from the highway. They offer free on-site parking for their customers. The diner is always very neat, clean and well-organized. Booth and counter seating is available. The food is consistently good and the portions are large. They offer a typical extensive diner menu. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful - which keeps me coming back. I like being able to order pancakes for my dinner, if I am in the mood. I have never had a bad meal here and highly recommend the Spinning Wheel Diner for a delicious meal!
